The start of my week lately circles around the very
middle of the week. I've turned into the adult that
officially cancels Monday simply based on the
belief there is not enough time in a day and there
should be a day between Sunday and Monday,
respectively. When working in a full week's time I
often lose hours just captured in the moments of
the artistic process according to the detail
expressed through a painting. The days have
been slower, as of late, with an urgency to write or
draw later in the evening starting at 11 p.m. The
start of 2025 has been productive with 2 paintings
completed and literally 3 issues published in time
for summer fun and production.
